About Us

Applied KnowledgeLabs was first created in response to what its founders perceived to be a terrible irony in the industry: that the best information, knowledge, and insight needed to create fast and sustainable business growth was available at a price point only large companies could really afford.
Having been both buyers and sellers of consulting and training services in the past, the founders knew all too well the challenges that existed in the industry. Improving the industry wasn’t enough. It needed to be changed - not just with new products and services, but with a new business model that allowed for the pricing, customization, and speed of delivery around content that small businesses were looking for.
With that, AKLabs and its revolutionary business model were created. Surprisingly, it was a hit with more than just small business looking to grow. Business authors saw AKLabs as a way to quickly turn their books into comprehensive training programs. Executive Education departments saw AKLabs as a means to build both courses and even entire curriculums cheaper and easier. Even consultants who would have traditionally been considered competitors found using AKLabs' products to be a great way to expand their offer and engage their clients sooner rather than trying to create something new themselves.
The AKLabs business model was further enhanced to include the following additional benefits:
  • The creation of a world-class network providing Best Practices and Thought Leadership “open source” to the business, academic, and non-profit community.
  • The development of a comprehensive and in-depth business analysis tool benchmarking 34 best practices and 171 leading indicators of sustainable growth adaptable to any industry, organization, or best practice methodology and rivaling benchmarks offered through high-profile programs at the government level (ex: Canadian Award for Excellence, Baldridge Award, Deming Award, EEQM, etc.)
  • The ability for any organization to fully brand and customize our content as their own without copyright restriction.
  • The ability to create new training and development programs in 1/10th the normal time.
  • The creation and sharing of a new Advanced Learning Model to increase learning efficacy and dramatically reduce training times.
