AKLabs helps two Calgary-based AV firms merge to become largest in Western Canada
Monday, September 15, 2008
On Monday, September 15th, Jeff Faber and Gregg Nelson announced the merger of their two companies, Apex AVSI and Sharp's Audio-Visual, respectively. Jeff Faber will continue as CEO of the new company and Gregg Nelson will take the position of Executive Chairman. The new company will continue with the name of Sharp's Audio Visual.
The goals of the new company were ambitious and determined: to bring two great and well-respected AV companies together as one and set a new standard in the industry in terms of customer service, employee satisfaction, professionalism, and expertise.
Using AKLabs' unique Merger & Acquisition Process, the two once-competitors were able to integrate both cultures, systems, and processes in far less time than would have been achieved using traditional methods.
The new Sharp's Audio-Visual is now focused on a continuous improvement process based on 171 attributes of fast and sustainable growth that reaches every aspect of their business. Their efforts and determination will no doubt make them a leader in audio/visual solutions across Canada, with their clients being the clear winners of this new standard being set. AKLabs is honored to have worked with both companies on this merger initiative, and looks forward to working in the new company to help them achieve even greater successes in the coming months. |
